Access Control

Access Control on Vinchin Backup & Recovery including IP blacklist and IP whitelist. By configuring IP blacklist and IP whitelist, users can ban or grant specific IPs or networks from accessing the web console of Vinchin Backup & Recovery.

To setup IP blacklist or IP whitelist rules, simple go to System > System Settings and select Access Control.

Add an IP blacklist rule under the Blacklist tab, and add an IP whitelist rule under the Whitelist tab.

Notice

1. IP whitelist rules has higher priority than the IP blacklist.

2. IP whitelist is mainly used to grant some specific IP from accessing Vinchin web console which may included in the IP range defined in IP blacklist.

3. IPs out of the IP range of blacklist rules will not be banned.
