Vinchin Backup & Recovery provides support for connecting to both Fibre Channel (FC) SAN and IP SAN, utilizing storage LUNs as backup repositories. For VM backup, Vinchin allows direct backup of VM data through SAN, bypassing the hypervisor layer and LAN, which is commonly referred to as LAN-free backup.
