Connect Object Storage to Vinchin

To add object storage to Vinchin, please follow the below step.

1. Go to Resources > Object Storage page.
2. Click on Add button.
3. In the Vendor dropdown list, select Vendor for object storage. Other option can be used for adding S3 compatible storage by other vendors.
4. In the Account Subzone field, select specific account subzone based on the AWS account area.
5. The Service Endpoint field is optional, if you need to specify the service endpoint URL, and if it’s SSL enabled, please enable SSL Certificate option.
6. In the Username field, enter the access key ID of your vendor account.
7. In the Password field, enter the secret access key of your vendor account.
8. Give the storage a name for identification in the Object Storage Name field.
9. If you deploy a Backup Proxy for scanning the object storage, you can enable the backup proxy to select.

Notice

The AWS account of China and Global are not interconnected, users need to determine the account type.
