Verification Lab

The Verification Lab is a simulated production environment that comprising a proxy gateway, resource pool, folders, and network. Virtual machines will perform data verification within this environment.

The disaster recovery drill platform reduces reliance on production resources, enabling drill room setup and backup data verification. If the backup system is deployed on physical machines, ensure CPU hardware virtualization is supported. If the backup system is deployed in a virtualized environment, enable CPU hardware virtualization when using the Virtual Lab. For more information, please refer to Create Verification Lab.

If you need modify the Lab, select the virtual drill room requiring modification, click Modify and follow the same steps as creating a new DR Lab to adjust task configurations.

Select a virtual drill room to delete and click Delete. The backup system will remove all resources associated with the virtual Lab deployed in the virtualized environment. However, only virtual lab that have been successfully deployed and are not currently in use by data validation tasks can be deleted. Virtual Lab in the deployment, modification, or active states cannot be deleted.

Select the virtual practice rooms requiring refresh and click Sync. Synchronization is possible when the virtual Lab status is Deployed. Refresh is unavailable for rooms in Error, Deploying, In Use, or Modifying states.

The sync function refreshes virtual Lab configurations in the production environment via the backend. To ensure verification tasks run normally, if the backend detects that a virtual Lab or proxy gateway name has been manually modified by a user, it will revert the name to its original state. The default automatic sync interval is every 30 minutes.
